The Profirex Fire Monitor Tower VP-U
The PROFIREX fire monitor fire tower VP-U is designed to accommodate one or two fire monitors. Fire towers with a height of 2 to 10 meters are used with fire monitors to ensure fire safety at hazardous industrial facilities. The PROFIREX fire tower can be customized to include one (Fig. 1) or two (Fig. 2) fixed fire monitors, as needed.

The typical configuration of the PROFIREX tower for one fire monitor includes a platform (of your desired shape and dimensions) with safety railing, a ladder, a leg for the fire monitor. *
*Note: Clients have the option to include a water curtain for the platform and structure, additional supporting structures (if the height of the tower is 10 meters or more), a fire hydrant manifold, and shut-off valves.

Towers for the fire monitors are supplied both assembled and as separate prefabricated elements. This flexibility allows clients to save on transportation and more easily transport the fire tower.
The PROFIREX VP-U’s single fire monitor option comes with a platform width of at least 2200 mm.
The PROFIREX VP-U is also designed for the installation of two fire monitors, and comes with a platform width of at least 3900 mm.
All options for the PROFIREX VP-U fire towers are the same for clients who choose one or two fire monitors, the only difference is the dimensions are larger for the fire tower that supports two fire monitors.
The electric fire monitors can be controlled by the operator directly from the tower platform or remotely.
The climatic modifications of the VP-U PROFIREX towers are as follows:
- U, for temperate climate.
- UHL, for boreal climate.
- OM, for sea climate (including offshore applications).
- T, for dry and humid tropical climates.
Guaranteed service life of the PROFIREX VP-U tower is at least 10 years.
