Prefabricated foam metering station “PROFIREX’’ in modular shelter
The PROFIREX BK PT prefabricated foam metering station and modular shelter is a prefabricated transportable modular building solution. The frame is constructed of steel , and the construction specifications can be altered depending on the required degree of fire resistance, strength characteristics and other unique requirements.
PROFIREX BK PT can hold equipment within the station itself. The modular foam metering station allows for the safe storage of firefighting additives and proportioning (dosing) of additives into water flow.
PROFIREX BK PT is made of one or more modules, which takes standard transport dimensions into account for easy transportation to the site, which also optimizes transportation costs.

The PROFIREX BK PT includes the following engineered systems for precise metering of all types of foam concentrates in the water stream:
Bladder tanks with an internal elastomeric bladder (The bladder tank can be made with a seismic resistant modification for additional reinforcement of the structure);
Hydraulic turbine foam proportioner complete with stainless steel tank.
Piping inside the PROFIREX BK PT is made of 09G2S steel tubes with red coating (stainless steel piping is available upon customers' request);
Deluge valves remotely activated by a solenoid valve are used as on/off valves. The optional valve position indicator can include a limit switch suitable for the control system.

The PROFIREX BK PT contains installed manifolds with sockets for connection of portable fire-fighting equipment. It can be used both for supplying foam through fire hoses, and for supplying water to the metering system from fire trucks.
