Heated/insulated hydrant cabinets BPG PROFIREX
BPG PROFIREX's heated and insulated fire hydrant cabinets are designed to be installed along the fire's water supply and are used for extinguishing fires by water or foaming solution, as well as for storing firefighting equipment, in cold climates and areas that are difficult to access.
BPG PROFIREX is used for rapid delivery and control of the flow of water and foaming solution and is ideal for extinguishing fires inside of structures and buildings. The opening of the BPG PROFIREX should be pointed in the direction of the fire. Pressure from the fire hoses spray a water or foam solution at the fire with the help of hand nozzles and portable foam generators. BPG PROFOREX has the following design features:
The number of sockets on the BPG PROFIREX's manifold is two units or more.
Each socket can be equipped with a redundant shut-off valve.
A button to remotely start and turn off the fire pumps.
LED lighting inside and outside of the cabinets.
An auxiliary switchboard that is used to control the heating and lighting of the entire enclosure.
Fire-fighting pressure hoses up to 160 meters long with hand nozzles for each socket.
Thermal insulation
The BPG PROFIREX is customizable and can be equipped with a storage tank for foam concentrate, in-line proportioner (a dosing device) and other necessary equipment.
The BPG PROFIREX is equipped with thermal insulation and electric heating.
APPLICATION
BPG PROFIREX is used at various industrial sites, including oil and gas production facilities as an alternative to underground fire hydrant wells. Wells at industrial sites are often filled with water, which makes accessing and maintaining fire hydrants difficult, especially during cold winter months. The BPG PROFIREX makes access and maintenance easier with the rapid deployment of hose lines and instant supply of the fire extinguishing agent to the place of fire, regardless of operating conditions.
With operating conditions from minus 60 °C to plus 40 °C, BPG PROFIREX is manufactured specifically for use in different climates and is designed to be placed in hazardous production facilities that operate in temperate, cold, sea and Arctic regions.
